Hon. Tukura Kabir Ibrahim is a Nigerian politician and federal lawmaker from Kebbi State. He represents the Zuru/Fakai/Sakaba/Danko-Wasagu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was born on 15 February 1984 in Kaduna State and is originally from Zuru in Kebbi State. He has built a career spanning public service, administration and legislative politics.

Tukura received his early education at Federal Staff College, Sokoto, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1994. He proceeded to Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State, where he obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate in 2000. He later attended Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language in 2005.

After completing the National Youth Service Corps programme in 2006, Tukura began his professional career with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). He subsequently joined the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2009, where he worked in the federal public service. His experience in these institutions gave him exposure to public administration, communications and the operations of federal government agencies before he entered elective politics.

Tukura entered the National Assembly through the 2019 general elections, when he was elected to represent the Zuru/Fakai/Sakaba/Danko-Wasagu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives on the APC platform. He retained the seat in the 2023 general elections, becoming a member of the 10th National Assembly. His legislative activities have included participation in debates, constituency representation and advocacy on issues affecting his constituents.

As a legislator, Tukura has sponsored and supported initiatives relating to healthcare, youth development, financial regulation and infrastructure. Among the legislative proposals associated with him are efforts toward establishing a Federal Medical Centre in Zuru, amendments concerning the EFCC and money-laundering legislation, and proposals focused on youth development. He has also been associated with constituency interventions in education, healthcare, water supply and other community infrastructure.

In May 2026, Tukura emerged from the APC primary process as the party's candidate for the Zuru/Fakai/Sakaba/Danko-Wasagu Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election. His emergence followed the party's primary exercise in Kebbi State. There were reported disagreements from supporters of another aspirant concerning the conduct of the primary, while Tukura was declared the APC nominee.

With experience in federal public service and two terms in the House of Representatives, Tukura Kabir Ibrahim has established himself as a political figure associated with the representation of the Zuru, Fakai, Sakaba and Danko-Wasagu communities. His political career has combined public-sector experience with legislative service and continued involvement in constituency development.
