The APC declared him the winner of its Rivers State primary for the constituency in May 2026.
Isobo Jack built his early public profile primarily through business and community involvement in Rivers State. Jack's political career developed through grassroots organisation in Rivers State. He was involved with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during an earlier period of his political career and established the Iso-Jac Organisation, a political pressure group that was reported to have structures across the 23 local government areas of Rivers State. He subsequently entered government administration in Rivers State. Jack served as Caretaker Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area from December 2007 to April 2008. His appointment gave him direct experience in local-government administration and grassroots governance in one of the two local government areas that make up the federal constituency he is now seeking to represent.
Jack later served in the Rivers State government under Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. He was appointed to oversee the state's environmental sanitation structure and subsequently served as Commissioner for Environment toward the end of Amaechi's second administration.
