Biography of Hon. Solomon Wombo

Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo is a Nigerian politician and legislator from Benue State. He was born on 4 April 1966 and represents the Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency of Benue State in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Wombo is an experienced public figure with a background in education and public service. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has developed his career through professional, community and political activities in Benue State.

His political career includes participation in the All Progressives Congress and previous attempts to represent his constituency at the federal level. He contested the 2019 House of Representatives election as an APC candidate before returning to contest the seat in the 2023 general election.

In the 2023 general election, Wombo was elected to represent the Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly. His constituency covers three local government areas in Benue State, making his legislative responsibilities extend across a large and diverse population.
