President Tinubu Set to Launch 2027 Re-election Campaign in Kaduna on October 24

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will kick off his re-election campaign in Kaduna on 24 October, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Abdulaziz Yari, announced this on Friday after meeting the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He spoke to State House correspondents after the meeting.

Yari said the President had approved the proposed campaign timetable. After the Kaduna rally, the campaign will move on to Rivers State and Maiduguri, Borno State.

He added that President Tinubu will formally inaugurate the APC PCC, which was constituted a few months ago, on 14 October at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
