Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, popularly known as GNI, is a Nigerian politician, businessman and financial professional from Ogun State. He represents the Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Born on 17 February 1962 in Imeko, Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State, he has built a career spanning financial services, corporate management, public administration and politics.
Isiaka began his professional career in auditing and management consultancy before moving into banking and financial services in 1989. Over nearly two decades in the financial sector, he worked in areas including investment banking, financial advisory, project finance, privatization consultancy, asset management and securities trading. His career gave him considerable experience in corporate finance and economic management.
In 2004, Isiaka was appointed the pioneer Group Managing Director of Gateway Holdings Limited, the investment arm of the Ogun State Government. During his tenure, he was involved in several initiatives aimed at strengthening the state's economic base, including the establishment of Gateway Savings and Loans, the development of the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone project, the restructuring of state assets and the privatization of dormant public enterprises. His role at Gateway Holdings became an important part of his public-sector career.
Isiaka subsequently became involved in Ogun State politics and contested the Ogun State governorship on three occasions, establishing himself as a prominent political figure in Ogun West. His political career eventually moved to the federal legislature when he contested the Yewa North/Imeko-Afon House of Representatives seat and won the 2023 general election on the APC platform.
Since entering the 10th National Assembly, Isiaka has taken part in legislative activities relating to economic planning, education and development. In February 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, a position involving legislative oversight of national development planning and economic policy. He has also sponsored bills and motions dealing with education, economic development and other issues affecting public institutions.
As a representative of Yewa North and Imeko-Afon, Isiaka has also supported constituency-oriented programmes. These have included educational interventions, vocational training and empowerment programmes for youths and women, agricultural initiatives and medical outreach. His constituency activities have also included support for roads, electricity and other community infrastructure.
For the 2027 general election, Isiaka emerged as the APC candidate for the Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency after the party's primary process in Ogun State. His continued political activities remain focused on federal representation and development within the constituency.
Gboyega Nasir Isiaka's career therefore combines extensive experience in finance, corporate management, Ogun State public administration and federal legislative service. From his work in the financial sector and leadership of Gateway Holdings to his political career and current role in the House of Representatives, he remains an established political figure associated with Yewa North, Imeko-Afon and Ogun State.
