Biography of Hon. Imam Umar

Hon. Imam Umar is a Nigerian politician from Jigawa State and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He is associated with the Jahun/Miga Federal Constituency and is the APC candidate for the constituency ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

Imam Umar is 65 years old and has educational qualifications including the First School Leaving Certificate, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) qualification and a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has been involved in political and grassroots activities in Jigawa State, particularly within the Jahun and Miga areas.
