Enugu | House of representatives
Hon. Dennis Nnamdi Agbo is a Nigerian politician and legislator from Enugu State. Born on 15 March 1964, he represents the Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. Current 2027 candidate records list him as the APC candidate for the constituency.
Agbo first gained prominence in federal politics when he contested the Igbo-Eze North/Udenu seat under the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general election. He initially won the constituency, but the result became subject to subsequent legal proceedings and a rerun election. In 2024, the House of Representatives Election Petition Tribunal ruled in his favour, and the Court of Appeal later affirmed the decision, restoring his mandate and declaring him the duly elected representative of the constituency.
During his time in the 10th National Assembly, Agbo has been involved in legislative activities and constituency representation, focusing on issues affecting the development and welfare of communities in Igbo-Eze North and Udenu. His background in accountancy also forms part of his professional foundation in public affairs.
In the 2027 election cycle, Agbo is contesting the Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency seat under the platform of the APC. His political career has therefore included experience with both the Labour Party and, subsequently, the APC, while his public service has centred on legislative representation of his constituency.
