Abubakar Yahaya Kusada is a Nigerian politician and second-term member of the House of Representatives in the 10th National Assembly, representing Kankia/Ingawa/Kusada Federal Constituency, Katsina State, under the APC. He was first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023.
He serves as Chairman of the House Committee on NG-CARES, overseeing Nigeria’s community resilience and economic stimulus programs. Before joining the National Assembly, he was the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly.
A trained Quantity Surveyor, he holds professional titles including FNIQS and RQS. Born on December 25, 1979, he is also known by the traditional title Garkuwan Kusada.
Between 2025 and 2026, he has been active in legislative oversight, leading international study visits, probing major social intervention programs, and engaging regularly with constituents through empowerment initiatives and town hall meetings.
