About ABDULLAHI IBRAHIM ALI

Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, popularly known as Ali Halims, is a Nigerian politician serving as the Deputy Majority Leader of the 10th House of Representatives since July 2023. Born in 1964 in Ankpa, Kogi State, he holds a degree in Political Science and has a background in public and business administration.

He represents the Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency under the APC. He previously served as Chairman of the House Committee on Steel in the 9th Assembly, as a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and as Chairman of the Kogi State Water Board.

He is known for advocating the revival of the steel sector, youth empowerment, and infrastructure development, and received the Arise Igala Humanitarian Award in 2025. He should not be confused with other public figures of similar names.
