About AHMED SATOMI

Hon. Engr. Satomi Alhaji Ahmad is a Nigerian engineer and politician serving his second term in the House of Representatives for Jere Federal Constituency, Borno State, under the APC.

Born in 1981, he studied Civil, Water Resources, and Transportation Engineering at the University of Maiduguri and is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Before politics, he led the Borno State Emergency Management Agency and the Road Maintenance Agency, and worked in the private construction sector.

First elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023, he currently chairs the House Committee on National Security and Intelligence. He is known for extensive humanitarian, educational, and empowerment programs in his constituency and is married with six children.
