Mohammed Umaru Bago is a Nigerian politician, banker, and public administrator who currently serves as the Governor of Niger State, having assumed office on 29 May 2023. Mohammed Umaru Bago was born on 22 February 1974 in Minna, Niger State, into a Nupe family with strong traditional and royal heritage.
