Diket Satso Plang (born December 12, 1972) is a Nigerian politician and businessman, currently serving as Senator for Plateau Central in the 10th National Assembly under the APC. Known for grassroots mobilization, he focuses on employment, education, and infrastructure development.
Born in Pankshin, Plateau State, he earned a B.Tech from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and served as head boy in secondary school. Plang held multiple public service roles before the Senate, including Councillor, Local Government Chairman, State Assembly member, Commissioner, Special Adviser, and board member of Plateau State University.
Elected Senator in 2023, he chairs the Senate Committee on Labour, Employment and Productivity and serves as Vice Chairman of the Committee on Federal Character. He has sponsored key legislation, including the Nigeria Social Security Trust Fund Bill (2025), and bills establishing the Federal University of Mining and Geosciences, Jos, and a Federal Medical Eye Centre in Mangu/Pushit. He also advocates for road network dualization and local development projects.
Plang was married to the late Professor Janet Punyit Plang and remains actively engaged in constituency welfare, education, and infrastructure initiatives.
