Adeniyi Ayodele Adegbonmire (born March 27, 1968) is a Nigerian legal practitioner, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and Senator representing Ondo Central in the 10th National Assembly under the APC. He is the only SAN currently serving in the Senate.
Born in Ibadan, he earned his LL.B from the University of Ife at age 19 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. He built a distinguished legal career in commercial law, arbitration, and insolvency, serving as a partner at Aluko & Oyebode and as Receiver/Manager of Aero Contractors Nigeria Limited under AMCON.
Elected to the Senate in 2023, Adegbonmire chairs the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, and Legal Matters. He is known for education-focused initiatives, healthcare and infrastructure projects in his district, and received an honorary doctorate from Joseph Ayo Babalola University in 2024. He is married and resides in Akure, Ondo State.
