About Aguye Suleiman Danladi (Hon.)

Hon. Aguye Suleiman Danladi is a Nigerian politician and federal lawmaker from Kogi State. He represents the Lokoja/Kogi Koton Karfe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was elected during the 2023 general elections and became a member of the 10th National Assembly.

Before entering the National Assembly, Danladi was involved in public administration and political affairs in Kogi State. He served as a Special Adviser to the Kogi State Government on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and held advisory responsibilities focused on supporting entrepreneurship and economic activities. His experience in government provided him with exposure to public policy and grassroots development.

Danladi entered the federal legislative arena through the 2023 general elections, when he contested and won the Lokoja/Kogi Koton Karfe Federal Constituency seat on the APC platform. His election placed him among the representatives from Kogi State in the 10th House of Representatives, where he has participated in legislative proceedings and constituency matters.

As a member of the House, Danladi has sponsored a number of bills focused on development within his constituency and Kogi State. In November 2024, he sponsored proposals seeking the establishment of a Federal Tourist Centre in Lokoja, a Federal College of Technical, Entrepreneurship and Vocational Training at Karara, and several specialised institutions relating to agriculture, mining, geology and industrial development in Kogi State.

He has also raised issues concerning infrastructure and public safety. In February 2025, he participated in a motion concerning recurring accidents along a major road corridor in Lokoja and called for measures including improved road infrastructure and traffic management. His legislative activities have consequently covered infrastructure, education, tourism, agriculture, industrial development and public safety.

Danladi has also maintained an active connection with his constituents through community-oriented programmes and development initiatives. His public activities have included support for vocational education, skills development and projects intended to create economic opportunities for residents of the Lokoja/Kogi Koton Karfe area.

For the 2027 general elections, Aguye Suleiman Danladi remains associated with the APC in the Lokoja/Kogi Koton Karfe Federal Constituency. His political career at the federal level continues to combine his earlier experience as a state government adviser with his legislative responsibilities in the National Assembly.

Aguye Suleiman Danladi's public career therefore spans political advisory work at the state level and federal legislative service. His representation of Lokoja and Kogi Koton Karfe has been marked by legislative proposals concerning education, tourism, vocational training, infrastructure and economic development.
